Improv
Improv is one of the best skills an actor can arm themselves with. The Canadian Improv Games is a world leader in the art of Improv, providing an amazing training programme culminating in a competition for high school students. Trained to perform spontaneous, improvised scenes within the framework of the CIG's own 5 event competitive format, teams of up to eight students take part in the Character, Life, Story, Style and Theme events. Bound by structure students explore, without preparation, the excitement and exhilaration of Improvisation. AIPA is proud to announce the launch of the Canadian Improv Games ‘down under’ in September 2008 at the Australian Screen Tests. If you are looking to take your acting to the next level, just remember that you cannot improve without Improv!
